  1. Good for Kazoo. How many companies can say they TRULY care about the customers satisfaction at the end of a sale. It's great how she bought the business and grew it right away online and with a catalog.

  2. I thought that this was a really great video. Diana’s strategies for success align right with the strategies that I plan to implement when I start my own small business. The main strategy is to provide great customer service. I feel that this is key because not only does it bring customers coming back, but when other customers hear about the great service that you provide they will want to come to you as well. Diana’s second strategy, not micromanaging and seeing the “big” picture is also very important. I believe that it is necessary to surround myself with employees that I can trust and empower to make sound business decisions. This will allow me to be able to spend more time focusing on the overall growth of my company. Her third strategy, surrounding yourself with great people that are smarter then you and having fun at work is key to any great company. The key to being successful is enjoying your job and the people that you work with. If you do not enjoy the people that you work with and take time out to have fun becoming successful is much more difficult.

  3. Excellent video! She has put together a really good plan for thriving in today's bad economy. I agree that customer service definitely is a huge part of making a business successful. By helping a customer feel welcome when they come into your establishment and showing friendly service, it gives the customer a desire to want to come back. Not to mention that they will tell their friends about your business.
Great business plan to learn from!
