Small business managers and ethics

what do you guys think are some ways to maintain high ethical standards in your company??

    The first thing that comes to mind is by example, don't have any dealings with un-ethical companies. keep you nose clean ans the rest will follow.

    Also, active participation in business groups that are dedicated to best practices, which exist for almost every type of business and individual profession out there can help to keep people up to date on the latest approaches to good business managment (ethics included!), and to meet others who can share how they've approached ethical issues when they've arisen.

    I think it is so important to follow the golden rule - Treat others as you would want to be treated.
