Business Ethics...

Found these cool articles in Business Week talking about Business Ethics. Related well to chapter 21 in the textbook.

  1. Mike, those links are pretty valuable and loaded with info. The remarks from the dean of Libscomb University were startling, stating that Ethics classes are sorely needed due to "a general deterioration of civility and honesty." Have we lost our anchor? Do we now need classes to teach basic values?

  2. Actually I posted that comment above but it was attributed to my daughter Chelsea, who also uses this PC. Weird.

  3. I think we do need classes on business ethics. I think maybe some people get caught up in the competitiveness and profit-making. Temptation comes along and they can't resist. I think if there was a class, maybe it could help them prepare for pitfalls along the way and then they would stick to their principles instead of doing something they know is wrong deep down inside.
