Hi Everyone,
Guess there are two Robs in the class, but I should show up as 'Rob Levin' hopefully.
I read this article on what's ahead in 2009 for small businesspeople on money.cnn.com, and thought it was worthwhile. Most of what they reported was stuff I already had read about, but I thought it was a nice overview.

Hey,
ReplyDeleteTo be honest i haven't heard about this medical package so this is news to me. I am not sure what to think about it, but as the article says; we will just have to wait and see when/what happens.
Rob as you stated many of the items that were discussed in the article were things that we already knew were happening or were going to happen. As if it wasn't hard enough for a person to start their own business and have it be successful, it has now gotten even more difficult and looks to remain that way for at least the next two years. Not only are small business owners concerned about their staff and making profits, but many of them are struggling financially themselves therefore looking at a situation where they may have just spent years creating and cultivating their business just to lose it all. I do think that the article did provide good information to entrepreneurs and small business owners on what to expect, but it did not do a very good job on providing information to them as to how they could salvage what they have worked so hard for. Since November (especially with holiday shopping) I have made it a point to buy handmade or from a small business owner, if possible to help them keep what they have dedicated their time, energy and money into. It may cost me a few pennies more, but I feel that it is totally worth it and recommend that everyone else do the same. With most of us aspiring to be small business owners, it is nice to be able to help those who shoes we may walk in one day.
ReplyDeleteHi everyone,
ReplyDeleteGoing along with what Angela said, I came across these websites recently and thought it may be helpful to some of you who wish to support your fellow small and large American business owners. The products we buy everyday are sending a message. We are the ones that make business owners successful. Lets do our part to keep the American people working and less tempted to out source.
